    How the hold up on the exhaust been? Are the quality good enough for the price. Interested in buying a set for my street triple. The SC project are quite a bit more expensive. But if the quality is not great. I'd rather choose the SC project

    Hey Kyle! So no one I know personally are into freehand sharpening so I have no idea what are considered benchmarks in my success with freehand sharpening, so I was wondering if you can please give me some feedback? So I used 80 grit sandpaper to re-profile a convexed BRKT and after I finished with the 80, I was able to cut paper but it was pretty rough. So then I went to a 320 Shapton Glass stone, and it significantly cleaned up the edge, but it doesn’t slice paper like your knives do. Is slicing through paper with a 320 grit considered good? And if I were to go up to a 1000 grit, how should the edge feel when attempting to slice paper? Thank you for your time!

      @kyle_noseworthy День тому

      Hey Christopher, great questions. You should be able to cut some paper when you do a real good job with 320, but it'll be rough and scratchy. Very coarse tearing edge. By 1000, if you've done a good job, your edge should be sailing through paper quite well!

    I know this is an old video, but great job my man. Only one thing I would suggest and it's a minute detail; Your light splotches running the length of your barrel are a little conspicuous. They look almost like eyes and have almost some sort of symmetry. It's just something that would likely stand out in nature. But that's just nitpicking from an old Marine. Looks fantastic.

    As long as you are on the subject of PPE, are you being fit tested to make sure that particular mask is fitting you correctly? Are you having a medical clearance or at least completing a medical questionnaire before being fit tested? Are you ensuring that those filters are the correct filters for the type of media and gases or bad air you are trying to filter out? Are you having a PFT performed before being fit tested? Are you using a certified HSE professional to help you make these decisions?

    Im actually putting taller sprockets in mine. I don't do any trail riding and just got the bike because it was cheap and simple to work on. Gonna make it a street bike and doing 80mph on the highway with the stock gearing isn't fun. Not to mention i dropped a valve at 2000 miles doing exactly that, so im a bit weary of high revs with this bike now...

    Are those handles that hack of a professional but on even real wood? Cause it looks the wood grain is painted on and not in a good way. If I got those back like this myself I’d be getting my money back on way or another. I’m just starting the video and I can’t wait to see what you do to restore them. Coming back at the end to say, wow! Those new handles are just amazing, that maple has some beautiful chatoyancy. Love that insert on the biggest knife in the set. Your client is gonna be so stoked to get these back and I bet his wife will be impressed by how thoughtful he was and forgive it taking so long when she sees how amazing the work you did is.

    Kyle....I need your recommendations on some stones and where I can buy some. I have several wet stones, but they are old and am in the market to get some new ones. I need your recommendations for stones that can reprofile the edge and then of course polish/sharpen the edge. Right now I am using 1000, 3000 and 6000. Can't remember the name of the stones becauae the writing has worn off over the years but I think they are noris stones. Can you recommend three really good wet stones?

    Beautiful knives and incredible craftsmanship mate🙌!!! I love watching them take shape and your love and attention to detail in your craft is evident not only in your workmanship during the process, but also how you talk so excitedly at the stages during the process🙂. I have my eye on the Tuckamore Bocote wood model for my camping and bushcrafting adventures, and wondered if the rivets as well as the G10 inlay are possible to be customized to have different colours. My thought was an olive drab green type of colour, as I love natural forest and woodland type of browns and greens🌲🌳🪵 Happy Father's Day to you as well gent!!! 🥰
